PTU Stars & Stripes Forever


This tut was written June 4th 2018 for those with a basic knowledge of psp.
I am using the awesome artwork of  Keith Garvey
You need a license to use this tube, do not use without a license.

I used PSPX...but any of them should work.

Font of choice,  I used US Stars N Stripes

Drop shadow is usually V-2 H-2 Black, 50, 5, use what you prefer.
Let's get started
*Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 800 x 800
Resize paper 14 to 80%, apply your mask, delete, merge group.
Resize paper 1 to 80%, paste, apply the same mask, delete, merge group.

Paste element 90, click inside with the magic wand, expand by 5, paste
resize paper 10 to 80%, paste, invert, delete.

Resize your middle side tube to 80%, paste on the frame.

Resize element 30 to 65%, paste at the lower left above the tube, duplicate, mirror,
move below the tube.
Resize element 13 to 50%, paste on the left below the flower, duplicate, mirror.
Paste element 32 at the bottom, being on the top layer, erase any of 
the tube showing at the bottom that you don't want showing.

Paste element 44 below the wordart.
Paste element 99 on the mask layer on the right, duplicate, mirror.
Paste element 8 on one side above the star layer, duplicate, mirror.

Paste element 98 below the tube layer on the left.
Paste element 38 at the bottom below the scatters under the wordart.
Resize element 9 to 50%, paste below the tulip flower on the right, duplicate, mirror.
Resize element 80 to 25%, paste at the lower left below the wordart.

Add any other elements that you would like, make it your own.

Once happy, close off any background you had.
 Crop your tag to get rid of any stray edges, merge visible.
Resize, sharpen, add your Copyright and name.
