FTU Race Day

This tut was written June 2nd, 2017, for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

I am using the awesome artwork of  Lys Isange

Font of Choice, I used Racing Numbers

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black

 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open the template, hold the shift key, hit the letter d to duplicate, close the original.
Delete the credits and wordart, then go to Image, Canvas size,
800 x 800.

Resize paper 11 to 125%, paste, resize the mask to 125% also,
apply, delete merge group.
Go to Adjust,
Hue and Saturation, Colorize and change both numbers to 0.
Adjust the mask to fit your tag.

Layer 1 on the template, select all, float, defloat,  paste paper 19, invert, delete,
select none, delete the template layer also.
Apple EyeCandy 4000 Fat Gradient glow, width on 5, soft corners 25,
Overall Opacity at 100,
Draw only outside Sections checked.

Merge layer 3 down with layer 2, paste your tube on one side, duplicate, mirror,
now on the circles, select all, float, defloat, once tubes are adjusted how
you like, invert, delete each tube, select none, merge the tubes together.
Duplicate, go to Adjust, Blur, Gaussian blur, number on 4, change the blend mode
to Screen or one you prefer.  Apply the Screen Works Filter-Light Gauze, then
merge down.
Apply a Fat Gradient glow, width at 5, first color on white, the second color on black.

Move the star on the right down more, then merge the stars, click inside
with your magic wand, add noise at 50%.

Layer 6, paste paper 5, move down so some of the smudge is showing,
invert, delete, select none.
Go to Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel with these settings
Shape 2, width 2
18, 2, 9, 10
50, 50, 30
Color white
Layer 8, paste paper 5, invert, delete, select none, apply the same bevel.

Move layer 9 above layer 11 and then merge layer 10 down with layer 9,
select all, float, defloat, resize paper 19 to 75%, paste, delete, select none.
Apply the same bevel settings and the fat gradient with the colors,
 white first and black second.

Select layer 10, paste paper 11, invert, delete,
Hue and Saturation, Colorize and change both numbers to 0.
Same inner bevel applied.

Being on the top layer now, paste car 1, apply the same Hue and
Saturation as before. Duplicate the car, change the blend mode to Burn,
merge down.

Resize your tube to 45%, paste below the car, duplicate, move above the car,
erase the right leg that is over the car.

Resize the cap to 45%, paste on the right side, do the same
Hue and Saturation as before.
Resize the sunglasses to 30%, paste by the hat and colorize the same.

Resize the flag to 70%, paste below the tube layer at the top, duplicate,
mirror, adjust.
Post the wire at the upper left on the mask layer, duplicate, move down
to the lower right.
Resize the stands to 50%, paste below the two long rectangles behind the tube,
change the color like before with Hue and Saturation.

Resize the rim to 55%, paste below the car on the left, duplicate, change
the blend mode to burn, merge down.

Resize the ticket to 75%, paste on the right below the car, colorize with the same settings,
duplicate, free rotate to the right at 35%, move down some.

Paste the sparkles below the tube layers.
Resize the sign to 35%, paste on the long rectangle below the star layer on
the right and down some, duplicate, move to the left and up some.
Resize the wrench to 25%, paste on the left by the car.
Resize the tire iron to 25%, paste by the wrench by the car on the left.


Add any other elements you would like to add.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.

Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.

Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.
